Yesterday was just a hot sticky mess. After picking up my winnings for the Derby at OTB I decided to do a little window shopping at Nike Town and West NYC (http://www.westnyc.com/) for some new kicks. I ended up getting the classic white Jack Purcell's. They are made by converse but there even more old school than that (1935) and were worn back in the day by stars such as James Dean. While at Nike Town I found the new Nike Gladiators, proving once more that Nike not only knows how to make a funcitionable shoe but one that is so stylin too.
